A woman is dead after she was hit by a truck on the Tullamarine Freeway near Melbourne Airport this morning.
The pedestrian was hit near the off-ramp to Mercer Drive at about 10am which blocked all lanes leading to the airport for several hours.
All lanes to the airport were blocked off as a result of the crash.
After several hours of significant delays, the road was re-opened.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
