Nightcliff Markets manager Ross Dudgeon said Fyles is a regular visitor to the markets and she is always "approachable and friendly".
"I had a report from one of the stallholders that they saw a woman pour something over Natasha Fyles' head," Dudgeon claimed.
"Because we had, I think, the 10th anniversary of the Bendigo Bank here this morning.
"I think not long after she walked out that's when the incident happened.
"She's often here on a Sunday morning coming out having her breakfast or a smoothie with her family.
"I've been running this market for 20 years and it's a friendly, open community atmosphere here."
