Two charged after man vanished from NT pub last year

A man and a woman have been arrested in relation to the disappearance of Tony Rowe, who was last seen at a pub in the Northern Territory in May last year.
The 36-year-old was last seen in the Darwin suburb of Moulden on May 28, 2022, after going to the Hibiscus Tavern in Leanyer .
A 21-year-old woman and 29-year-old man were both extradited back to the territory from Western Australia and Queensland earlier this month.

The woman has since been charged with making false statements and destruction of evidence, while the man was charged with one count of dangerous act causing death.
They will both appear in Darwin Local Court on July 12.
Acting deputy commissioner Michael White said police have worked closely with Rowe's mother since her son went missing.
"We're doing everything we can to find Tony to give her the final closure that she needs to have," he said.
